Students are our NEXT GENERATION of the workforce! We promote the Youth Workforce Academy throughout metro Kansas City. We are committed to providing comprehensive resources and support to help youth navigate the ever-changing job market. Workshops start at one location and move to a second to gain hands on construction related activities. Students warn OSHA 10 certification.
We understand that many Students face employment challenges, including difficulties with online applications, crafting strong resumes and cover letters, and overcoming systemic barriers. Youth Workforce Academy is the flag shift section of Employment Smarts, activities are tailored to meet the unique needs of different groups, including Client Connected Projects or Internship Prep. We have been fortunate to work with local Construction Trades and Adv. Mfg. Firms including Foley Equip., Brown Industries, JE Dunn, Heartland Women Trades, N.I.C.E. , Builders Training Center , and many more! These workshops provide targeted guidance and strategies to help students successfully transition into a new career path.

Career & Workplace Readiness Skills Workshop
Our latest workshop focuses on Workforce Readiness Soft Skills. Equipping first-time job seekers, current or recent high school graduates, with essential career and job search skills . In person technical curriculum spans 4-5 training sessions, including licensed and results based professional LMS Portal. Students will be able to articulate their Market Value Assets along with documented training and evaluation. covering vital topics to enhance employability. Most workshops provide free laptops for successful completers .
